This was quite the double header sweep by the Yankees.
Game 1: Yankees win 12-6. Lou Gehrig goes 3-5 with a triple, a ru scored and an RBI. Joe Dimaggio gets the 31st hit of his career. He also scores the 18th and 19th runs of his career and gets the 13th RBI of his career. Tony Lazzeri goes 1-4 with a home run and the 1001st RBI of his career.
Game 2: Yankees roll 15-1. Joe Dimaggio goes 2-6 with the 11th double of his career. He also scores a run and gets an RBI. Tony Lazzeri was the big star in this one, going 4-5 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Bill Dickey also hit a home run and scored three times.
The next day, the Yankees would beat the A's 25-2, setting a major league record for runs scored by a team over a two day period (52).
As you can see, these are still attached to a scrapbook page. They may be able to be removed with a good soaking, but I have not tried this myself, so no guarantees.
I would sell these for $125 each or the pair for $220.
