I will say that the handful of raw cards I have up there I had every intention of slabbing at some point, and chose them as carefully as I choose the graded ones. I just decided to sell this batch for a coming purchase before getting around to grading them. I never submitted any of my raw card listed there-- so they were not submitted and rejected, and then listed, just to be very clear on those examples. Tangentially, I especially loved that 54 Ted Williams for its centering

I agree that I like making my own eyes do the judging. I do like multiple pictures though when it's not graded. There's some ease and comfort when you know you can talk directly to the consignor about the card.
