Almost certainly not Gehrig, IMO, if for no other reason that Gehrig followed Ruth in the batting order, and everyone in this picture is looking at further action in the field or on the bases, meaning after Ruth scores, either Gehrig is behind him on the bases or he already made an out--he would not be in the on-deck circle with some other runner on the bases, nor would he have scored ahead of Ruth. Other indicators make me believe it is not Gehrig as well, probably Lazzeri or Meusel.
