Mine is an Epson perfection 2400, and it's pretty fast on lower resolutions. It also lets me select the area to scan so I'm not scanning the entire area.
I have an all in one that I rarely use as a scanner.
And for my birthday I got a Brother large format scanner.
Still need to set it up, but I'll be able to scan the larger old magazines I have and other stuff that's just a bit too big for a regular scanner.
