Not sure what you're looking for Steve and I've been out of the collecting game for a long time. I'm from East Hartford and there was only about one shop (now in Wethersfield) which is about 45 mins from New Haven. There used to be more but the only reason that one is still hanging around is they sell way more than cards now.
New Haven I would have no idea but if you find anything let me know maybe I'd take a drive down there sometime.
