That fake signature is on a Spalding Radio Show program. The show featured Babe Ruth.
A former neighbor of mine was a gopher on the show. He sold me a number of Babe Ruth autographs including that program.
His story was amusing. He was a young boy, in the 1940's, and hung out at the Ansonia Hotel in Manhattan. Ruth had a room there. It was not for playing gin
. When Ruth left the room my neighbor would see him in the lobby and get an autograph or two. Ruth took a liking to him and made him his gopher on the radio show.
He not only had Ruth but a number of HOFers which he had gotten through the mail. I bought most of his collection.
