Anyone seen hockey skates like these?
I picked these up the other day off eBay...Anyone seen skates like these?..All the ones I've seen have just been black..never seen two tone ones like this...The listing said there were 14 watchers...had a OBO so I shot an offer and they took it...After I bought um I asked the seller how long they were up...said a week...
I sent an enquirey to iceskatesmuseum.com...interestingly they didn't have anything on them...
Hi, Carlton Hendricks here...Say I just bought the attached hockey skates...would you have any info on the Arctic company who made them?...Also are these ice skating only or hockey skates? Anything you could tell me about them would be much appreciated...I’ve never seen a pair like them...
Thanks so much
Kindly –Carlton

Hello Carlton,
The skates you bought are most interesting because of the splendid shoes. The skates themselves are more or less standard hockey skates from around 1900. And I am afraid that is all I can say about them. Arctic must have been a model name; I have data about hundreds of American and Canadian skate makers, but a manufacturer named Arctic is not among them. The only other mark I see on the blades is 11, which indicates the size. Sorry, I can’t help you better.
Kind regards,

They should go well with that "Boston Rink" hockey stick I got last fall from Corey...
