Default 1919 Yankees vs. White Sox Program - Joe Jackson and George Halas

Scored program from the June 8, 1919 game between the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox. In the Yankee lineup that day was Home Run Frank Baker in the twilight of his career and he hit a homerun in the third inning. Listed among the Yankee reserve players is the founder of the Chicago Bears Football team – George Halas. Halas was with the Yankees from May to July of 1919 and to find him in a program is very rare.

The White Sox lineup has Joe Jackson and other members of the Black Sox are in the lineup, listed among the pitchers or in the reserve players.

Overall the program is in a very pleasing EX+ condition. Spine is 100% intact with no splitting. Program exhibits some light toning and staining but is a very clean program. Please let me know if you have any questions or want additional scans.

Price $1375 shipped.
