FS-Cool Ted Williams Wire Photo-1950
Cool photo of Williams with Eddie Collins, Dated February 7, 1950 on reverse.
This photo cracks me up... Williams hated wearing ties (obvious if you look at the photo), My guess is that Collins forced Ted to wear the tie to the dinner (Believe this was from the 1950 writer's dinner). Ted probably protested, but ultimately lost to his boss... Based on the Wide-Eared scowl of Collins Ted probably just shouted "I hate effing Ties!!!"
I have enclosed the photo in lucite, and had a Matte, and backing cut for an 8x10 frame.
