Default Sold: Large group of Philadelphia scorebook/scoresheets

Several hundred scoresheets from radio announcer Claude Haring.

Large binder from 1948 containing approximately 175 games (full season of
home games plus extras) for the A’s and Phillies at Shibe Park against every
AL and NL team (DiMaggio, etc.). Also Satchel Paige’s (misspelled in
scorebook "Page") first Major League win (with Cleveland in relief). Also
has side notes from Haring of important things he wanted to bring up during
his broadcasts.

In another binder are dozens of games from 1956 & 1957 of the Phillies
games.

In another binder, probably two hundred (or more) games from 1962 – 1964 of Pirates games at Forbes Field. Apparently he worked as the Pirates
announcer for awhile.

Another binder of a dozen or so games for the Phillies in 1944.

A binder with the Scranton Minor League team for 1941 (Champions). There is also another binder that he keeps nearly daily handwritten and updated stats for this team, probably for his own reference.

He also covered games in other east coast cities on occasion to fill in for
other broadcasters apparently.
