Greg thetahat, Yeah I was hoping it wouldn't come down to fabricating something like what you describe, as it would be nice to just slide it in and be done with it...I think I'll look into getting it shrink wrapped...
Joe vintagesportscollector, Thanks for the link to the tennis museum...I know Rolph a little...he's got some collection...I like that tennis clock with the flanking man and woman players....Yeah I've been kind of on a tennis streak the last 6 months...not out of any plan I just happen to bump into the stuff and can't resist it...Like this pennant...I spotted it on my buddy Keith Schneider's site gasolinealleyantiques.com...it was priced $139.00...and he said it had been on there forever....how could I pass it up at that price...Also picked up this porcelain sign below recently...Stumbled onto it while researching that Krammer Riggs poster...on an Australian website that sells nothing but antique advertising...OldSydneySigns.com.au...wasn't cheap but I wasn't leaving it in Australia!
