The slips are stable, they aren't going to stain a card. They might if you added oil, gasoline, alcohol, or something like that. But dry and touching the slip won't affect the card.

One neat aspect with the ungraded cards in a binder is that you can take out all of a certain team, then lay them out by series. You can see "Cubs" on the jerseys of the of the 150 series cards, and the eventual transition to "Chicago" down the front of the 460 series. It's much better than a Beckett-like alphabetical sorting, oblivious of team designation.
