Very Cool lot for the Robin Roberts Fan...
1-Robin Roberts Signed 1976 Hall of Fame Induction Card
2-1952 Topps Archives Roberts Card that was formerly owned by Roberts himself (fellow board member generously threw a few of these in with a past purchase, and I figured this would make a nice companion piece for the next item)
3-Spalding baseball that is dated May 21, 1952 and inscribed "Phillies"
the gent who I purchased it from stated that the ball was caught by his grandfather during that game... Although I can't prove it, the ink is vintage, and I cant think of any other reason why someone would inscribe it as such... Spalding stamp is bold, league stamp is extremely faint... Robin Roberts pitched a complete game victory on this day for his 7th win of the season (arguably his best 28-7), and 70th of his hall of fame career...
