Pardon my ignorance, but this ball is currently listed on ebay. It appears even to my highly untrained eye to be stamped. I emailed the seller and asked about it. He replied that he didn't think it was. Now I notice at the very, very bottom of the page that he thinks it's stamped as well - which, to me, makes the listing seem a little sneaky.
All that aside, a question - even though it's stamped, is it likely that it's at least from the time period stated, and if so, does the ball have any value? (Actually that's two questions) Thanks!
