Not new
Not new, nor is it a creature.
It's just a number that is only used within the registry.
It means very little to any one who doesn't use the SGC registry but helps those that do.
It allows the numbers to add up to something well, numerical...and assign percentages towards completion.
If you have a SGC graded card and participate in their registry, then you can add these authentic cards into your set. It's that simple.
The "5" does not appear on the flip. I'm curious why that would matter even if it did?
