An appropriate item for a December pickup. This was signed 90 years ago on January 1, 1925. It is an RPPC of Frank Beaurepaire. He was a swimmer for Australia during the 1908, 1920 and 1924 Olympics. He won a silver and bronze medal in each of the games. He served in the Australia Defense Forces during WWI. He was gassed and suffered from trench fever before being sent home. In 1922 he rescued a shark attack victim near Sydney for which he received a gold medal from the Royal Humane Society. He founded two tyre (correct spelling for Aussies) companies and served as Lord Mayor of Melbourne 1940-42.
