2014 Top Autograph pickups
I can never narrow these down to one, but here are my favorite 2014 autograph pickups:
Most unusual, coolest and best deal:
Four autograph sheets from the Army Navy Pacific Rim World Series in 1944 that contain
36 HOF & ML players, in addition to many others that served in the Navy in WWII. For my collection, unbelievably cool and rare.
For my no-hit autograph collection, two real toughees:
GPC's of no-hit pitchers Earl Moore and HB "Dutch' Leonard.
Earl Moore tossed a no-hitter that was lost in the 10th inning in 1901 (1st year of the AL junior circuit). HUB Leonard tossed two no-hitters for the Boston Red Sox, one in 1916 & one in 1918. Both of these pitchers had very early death dates.
