Look for local postcard and paper shows in your area...they can be a treasure trove. I have found some of my best postcards at these types of shows...most postcard dealers are aware that baseball postcards are sought after, but you can find absolutely incredible deals if you know what you're looking for. I found a real photo postcard of a team with Dazzy Vance on it at a postcard show for the price of what a regular small town team postcard would cost you on ebay. I also found a dealer with a 50 cent postcard box that had 4 Mickey Mantle Holiday Inn postcards in it.
