Default Sometimes they are more than just clippings.

Hey Jon,

I also like to collect clippings from old newspapers. I also enjoy reading the stories, but sometimes you get a bonus. These clippings from a Cincinnati paper from the 30's included cut out pictures of the famous stars of the day. Next to each picture was a tab for kids to write the name of the player, his team and his position. In effect, free baseball cards for the kids during very tough economic times.

Here are a few clippings that I put in top loaders. I sometimes think about the kid who originally cut them out and wrote the player information on the back. Its something I would have done when I was a kid

Best regards,

Joe
