I know that it only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades, but I was glad I was in the hockey rink, if not at center ice. I thought I would share a few original photos from my archives of players in the OP's photo.

The first is Winthrop 'Ding' Palmer in 1929 while a junior forward on the Yale hockey team.

The second is the 1936 U.S. Olympic ice hockey team prior to leaving for Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This may have been taken at Boston Arena, now owned by Northeastern University. Sitting in front is Walter Brown. Standing directly behind him is John Garrison. I had the pleasure of meeting Garrison and the two men to the right of Brown - John Lax and Gordon Smith, all from Boston.
