Marijuana has very little to do with homelessness. Bad decisions is what causes it, usually. But what do I know, I have only given life skills classes, every week for the last 15 yrs, to the homeless at the Salvation Army. It is repeated bad decisions and lack of planning that causes homelessness. And that is enough said.
