I was trying to see if that foul ball ended up authenticated by ML Baseball, but found this instead - complete list of everything they authenticated.
The curious part is items HZ474514-HZ474557: 44 unidentified game-used baseballs. Looks like they just rounded up a bunch of balls, to be defined later. This should be interesting. Wanna bet they all end up being from Jeter at bats?
MLB normally has all baseballs identified, right down to the last detail of use, within 24 hours of game end - when they show up in the authentication database, they are fully-defined. These obviously are not.
