I am looking to obtain a complete set or very close to complete 1962 Topps set. The "woodies" were always my favorite and it was my dad's favorite as a 9 year old kid back in '62. I don't usually go for high grade stuff, but in this case, being my favorite, I really want one!
I'm really looking for a pretty consistent EXMT to NRMT or higher set (a few EX would be ok), but I don't want it to be the case where the commons dominate the condition of the stars. I don't want to have to upgrade the Mantle, Mays, Maris, Aaron right after getting the set. I prefer raw, but if it has a few PSA/SGC in it, I won't cry.
I already have a near complete set in low to mid grade mostly, so I'll likely use the extras in one of my online trading groups (OBC, VCT, or OCT). So, you'll be helping more than me with this project!
I can buy at the right price, but I also have a bunch of things I can trade including some prewar (although I don't really have that one card to trade for a complete set. It would have to be several cards.)
