Hey all,
So, I'm doing a painting of the below Ruth photograph for a board member.
I've got Babe covered pretty well here, which wasn't the hard part, as he's clear as day. However, I'm having trouble making sense of some of the ads on the Polo Grounds walls behind him in the background. I was wondering if any of you guys might have any original photos of the place from 1915 specifically that show that stuff clearly? I've already dug through the Library of Congress and other sites, but they don't have anything from that particular year. And I know that there's an Ever-Ready Safety Razor ad in there, as well as one for Fatima tobacco products, but I just wish I got a more clear view of the darn things.
Might any of you be able to help?
Thanks!
