Thanks again Barry. I am starting to get my fill of Pancho Villa and Germany stories in reading all of this 1916 material, but find it interesting to see what was important back in that time. Oh, and it was an election year for you fans of the pols.
James, nice scan and you're right--the ads are very similar. Since just over half of the m101 advertising backs represent sellers of merchandise, I would think there would be similar layouts, but still hope to see some different approaches emerge when we locate ads for the remainder.
As for Globe, I especially like where the ad states "and each photograph personally authorized by the player as his favorite picture". Doubtful but interesting anyway.
