Ball has less than an hour and a half left and it's just over $100 so I think it's still an awesome deal considering the rarity.

dgo71, to answer your question... The latter is true, but he started to sign a little bit towards the end of his life. Jim Stinson can confirm as he talked to a relative. Giovanni I believe was able to get him TTM at that time too.

Osgood signed briefly TTM, maybe for a month or so, before going back into his autograph hiding. I have two young boys (now 4 & 3) and this was at the time I wanted to start their autograph collections TTM and decided to write a lot of the older ball players that were still living. A lot of the address research was done on my own and I found Osgood's address in WhitePages.com. When I went back to compare to a lot of the sports address lists, many omitted his apartment number so that may have contributed to some of the failures as well.

It literally took me a week to get some index cards and my ball back signed by him. Yes, I was very surprised. A friend of mine tried him a couple weeks later and never received anything back.

Hope that helps. Feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Thanks,
Matt
