Default 1952 Schwinn Phantom bicycle Reduced for holidays

Selling my 1952 Schwinn Phantom bicycle. $1000.00 now $800

The bike is pretty much complete including original Schwinn tanks, fenders, seat, chain guard, and pedals. The front fender and headlight cover is not on the bike but is pictured separately and is included.

I believe it was originally a "Black Phantom" as it shows the red and black if you look closely where the blue paint is chipped. Someone painted it blue at one time, but luckily the tanks and fenders maintain original red. It is very displayable now, or is a great candidate for restoration.

You can part the bike out and easily get your money back and more. Used tanks go for $300, used fender set $250, used seat $100, used frame $250, used springer forks $250, etc.

There is nothing much else you need to track down to finish the restoration. I would part it out, but it would be a shame and I don't have the time or health to do it. I have provided a picture of where the front badge should be and looks as though it had an "Excelsior" badge. The frame ID number which is under the pedal crank case denotes this as an early 1950's bike. I also have the front fender to match the back one. I have it on the work bench presently.

All you need are a few 52 Topps to put in the spokes.

I need the money but would consider partial trade for prewar Yankees/Americans/Highlanders, and or regular issue Mantles.
