Just back from grading....
A guy walks up to our table at the National and asks if I was interested in some old cards. I say, sure. He shows me several decent, raw cards and some that weren't so decent *(value-wise). The first one he had shown me was the one below. I had an interest

and that first card he showed turned out to be the only one we made a deal on. He had a nice Cy Young portrait T206, but he wanted about retail for it; after an offer of mine wasn't enough.
I guess it was my best walk-in of the show. I go with
low no expectations. I go for the proverbial camaraderie more than anything else. Buying, selling and or trading is just the icing on the cake.
