I don't buy new anymore, but here is my 2 cents:
For design I would take Allen and Ginter. But for checklist I would stay away. I would be very upset to get an auto card of Austin Wierschke, "Texting Champion" or of Guy Ryness "Batting Stance Guy"... I have no clue who these guys are and don't know why anyone really does. I think that would even more disappointing than getting one of their cat cards. At least the cat cards have nice images.
For the checklist alone I would stick to Gypsy Queen.
