Default 1958 Topps Autographed

I thought the '58 Topps with the solid background would be very accommodating for signatures. The 58's are also the first set that I actually remember buying off the counter at Al's Confectionary, at the corner of Plymouth and Hodiamont.

When the 1978 Grand Slam card set with player addresses came out, I included an extra card with each mailing, usually a '58 Topps. With this method I acquired 40 '58's. In 2001, I made the crazy decision to get them all autographed. At this point, I am 9 cards shy of complete autographed set and probably as complete as I will get.
