I love the history of the pre-war cards, especially 19th Century and the Dead Ball Era, but I really enjoy looking at the cards I collected as a kid from 1958-1962 Topps. These still give me the most enjoyment. It brings back the memories of riding my bike to the local party store and buying packs . I also received in the mail throughout the summer , Topps Series by Series. I checked the mailbox everyday waiting for the next series. Does anyone know who sold sets back in the late 1950's by mail ? I think my dad ordered them thru an ad in The Sporting News.
