Default Titus, Meet Your Match...

With all the T206 fanatics on the Board we are all aware of the uniqueness of the Titus portrait, bearing a moustache. It seems that in the 1909-11 era, facial hair on baseball players was a rarity.

I just realized that the same was true of hockey/lacrosse players during this time period. And so of all the poses in the Imperial Tobacco sets - C56/C55/C60/C59, it turns out there is also only one with a fine moustache...I present to you the card of lacrosse player, J. Metivier:
