I really like Zimmer and considered him a prominent and colorful character. Classic baseball guy. That said, and no disrespect intended, I have seen the description "baseball great" thrown around quite a bit, which is probably a stretch. OTOH, I think we all deserve a little exaggeration at the time of our demise
