Very good, Jason! I was just about to chime in and say the same thing.
Here is what I typed:

One important thing to note about Ken Griffey, Jr's signature is that he happens to sign without applying a lot of pressure to the pen. Eddie Murray and Rod Carew are others that have the same tendencies.

FWIW, the person that penned the "Griffey" ball in question appears to have applied quite a bit of pressure when they signed this ball.

Here is an example of an IP Ken Griffey Jr. ball that he signed for me in 1991. Note that his pen strokes are deliberate, but almost "wispy" at the same time.
