Greg, I suppose that on some level (perhaps subconsciously), a player's greatness enhances the overall appeal of their cards.

I will tell you one thing, though. Wally Moon could have put up Babe Ruth type numbers, and you still wouldn't have seen his cards in any "best looking" lists.
