This is the core of the group that would come to be known as the $100,000 infield starting in 1911, when a younger Stuffy McIinnis replaced Harry Davis at first base. It's my belief that McInnis should have gotten more Hall of Fame consideration than he received.
I got a great price on this, as the little "47" stamp on the middle panel's back lowered the overall score. The card itself is quite beautiful though. |
