I believe there is one
other known example, but yours is the only one I've actually seen pictured. I got mine about a decade ago. It wasn't cheap, but has remained one of my very favorite figural pieces.
I love the gothic look and gigantic hands (supposedly, Wagner had huge hands). I suppose these could be bookends, due to the shape and flat back sides. But they certainly don't seem heavy enough to support many books. Much more decorative than functional, if indeed that's the case.
I just refer to mine as "The Honus Wagner Statue". Glad to see he has a long-lost sibling out there
