Richard...thanks for checking in on my progress! This is a fun place and a great outlet to share with like minded folks. I have a ritual after each card...check it off my website, my travel checklists, and then come here and update signature.

Mintacular...thanks...it does feel good. Born in 1970 buying cards as a kid in packs, I would have freaked to know one day I would have a 70s Topps run. I guess I did this for him...haha. Funny about the 57s...I had that one completed here recently, and as mentioned several times here sold it to fund the adoption of my 5th kid (4 daughters, 1 son). It was in EX to NM condition, and I did quite well. I HATE selling though, more of a buyer, but certainly made the wife happy. Going to be strange to re-do that one, it will probably be last while I do the dreaded 52s...

brob28...yep...pain in the a**!

Al...yeah...haha...I am in the abyss now!

Nate...thanks, and thanks for the help!

darkhorse...I certainly admire where you are at, I am hoping to catch you soon. I really enjoy your progress reports. Once I complete 67 I will be more organized than I have ever been. Instead of going a year in a row, I just randomly went after whatever year I felt like at the time or even let a good deal on a lot decide my way. I decided to focus on getting some sort of run to get organized. I actually do have the 80's already...I am 6 cards from 67 short of my actual run of 64-90. I am either going to do 62, 63, or 56 next....and I have a start on each one. I do have a pretty good chunk of 59s going, but I am not happy with their overall condition (bad starters lot). Leaning on 56...

David W...heck, you may get more than $3 for that card now even in that shape. Still a tough card and I must have lost 5 or 6 auctions as they spiraled out of control. I actually picked up his base card for a pretty good deal at a show..the IA was much harder to nail down. I remember going for sets Pre-Internet...MUCH different for sure. I used to love annoying a dealer on the other side of the phone as I asked him to check for 60s commons in the 80s...haha.

Thanks DanP, Rickyy, and brewing! Much appreciated...
