Your guess is as as good as mine. Old photos often have serial/catalog numbers on them, but they're often to usually unrelated to the date, or at least in some unobvious code. I don't know whether or not you are trying to determine if the photo is original or just the date. Ordinarily, when the date was stamped or written on a photo, it was in obvious date text ('July 2, 32'). Yours could be the date, but it could be random number coincidence. I rarely even try to decipher catalog codes on photos, unless they clearly refer to something tangible. If a catalog code is 'Cy_Young456abc,' I'll take it that it's of Cy Young. If it's '12653ggh33,' I don't worry about it
