Great stuff so far guys.

Thinking more about Zeenut packaging, you don't see many Zs with candy stains or stains at all on the cards. Looking at the Zeenut sheet music below you see a "delicious treat" that looks rather large and messy. Since Zs don't really have staining problems, it seems likely the "treat" wasn't touching the card. Point here is that the packaging would have to be relatively large to house both the card and that rather large treat pile shown on the sheet music, while also keeping the card protected from staining. From the Horne book amongst other sources it seems the cards were inserted "one per box" of candy. Maybe the size of a double height box of modern Junior Mints?? Who knows, maybe some day a box will surface -- until then one of the many unsolved Zeenut mysteries. . .
