Trick plays are not the difference maker for Seattle.. they are 100% more physical and tougher than Denver (and most of the rest of the league) and that shows on every defensive snap... that along with some nice offensive execution, especially on third down and they are just beating crap out of a softer team.
I really hope Manning and Co mount some kind of comeback in the 2nd half (just to make it interesting), but I don't see it happening. Little dinky/dunky passes rack up a lot of yards against secondaries that can't tackle, but Seattle has one of the best tackling secondaries I've ever seen... and they are ALWAYS close to the ball to contest throws.
I do see your point re- Manning vs great teams and do agree he's struggled more against good teams.. most QBs do, except the Joe Montana's/Tom Brady's/etc that always seemed to elevate their play against the best.
