Boy, I thought the people in Washington, D.C. were 'Weather Pussies' (my own expression). It looks like Houston and Atlanta have supplanted the people here in that category.

What a difference from Massachusetts. We would go to work even if snow was predicted. You would come out after work and find 6-7 inches of snow on your car. You would clean it off, get moving and still make it home in a reasonable amount of time. At one point I was commuting 53 miles each way and we would have decent snow storms and it would only take 2 hours instead of the normal 1 hour to get home. You would get out on the highway and everyone would be moving along at a steady pace and get where they were going. Very few knuckleheads who thought four wheel drive was four wheel stop.
