Default Charles Osgood 1944 Brooklyn Dodgers Rare

As some of you may know Charles Osgood passed away. I had listed this 4 days ago on ebay before he passed away, so I am not just trying to capitalize on his death. But I wanted to share this listing, as it may be one of the few chances someone gets to add him to there collection.

Osgood played in 1944 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Just like his teammate Clancy Smyres he was a notorious non signer. About 2 years ago he signed through the mail for about a month. Before that the only thing you would ever find on him was a signed certified mail receipt.

When I first obtained it, Jodi Birkholm, told me it was the only signed 3x5 he had ever seen. When I gave it to Spence to authenticate for me. It took James 6 months to give me an answer, because he could not find an examples of his signature. Jim Stinson can also verify the rarity of the autograph

I am selling it because I am no longer trying to collect the 1940 - 1945 debut players so it doesnt fit what I am doing.
