Rob, God bless your daughter, and your entire family. I can't think of anything better than having her back at home with you for Thanksgiving.
I can handle just about anything, but seeing a child suffer just tears me up inside. Luckily, it sounds like your Ruthie is a real fighter, and has some great doctors and nurses helping her. And she certainly has a great dad. 
I am saying a prayer for her, and all of you.
