I went on Saturday, but with a five year old in tow it was hard to get any pictures.
Compared to the National held in Chicago earlier this year, this show held its own from a vintage standpoint. There was a goodly amount of T cards in conditions from NM to Poor at price points that seemed much more realistic than at the National. Not coincidentally, the dealers I talked to that had set up this summer said their sales were better than at the bigger show.
I noticed far fewer dealers selling shiny new stuff and more guys with stuff from the 50's-70's in their cases. I all but finished off a couple of 70's era football sets and picked up some exhibit cards and a T201. I met my cousin, who attended his first card show in three decades, and he made a sizable dent in his childhood 69 Topps baseball set. Fun day, and I'll be back in the spring.
