Default T206 Player Billy Sullivan Sr Signed Player Contract

The contract is actually for his son, Billy Jr., and it is the first professional contract that his son signed. It is for the seasons 1931 and 1932 and is with the Chicago White Sox. It also features what is likely the earliest known autograph of Billy Jr., who played in the majors from 1931-1947. Also has a stamped signature of Charlie Comiskey.

The contract is a standard player contract, and it has some tears at the spine and at some of the folds. There is also some minor staining, but not near the Sullivan Sr autograph. That autograph is bold, and he has added the inscription "Father". There are also a few written notations in the body of the contract, but it is not known if this was done in the hand of Billy Sr or Jr.

Sullivan Sr passed away in 1965, and his signature is not that easy to find, especially on an official document such as a contract.

Asking $200 delivered.
