Default M101-6 Faber--SOLD

Offered is an m101-6 card of HOF White Sox hurler Urban “Red” Faber, which I would strictly grade as VG or VG- (looks nicer). Price is XXXXXXX shipped.

There is a small crease in the upper right corner and a light bend/wrinkle in the lower corners. There is a 1" light vertical crease beginning in his left shoe and extending up between his legs, and a lighter semi-circular wrinkle/crease by his pitching hand that touches the knuckle of his index finger. The corners themselves are mostly pointed, the edges are sharp and there is great gloss. Issued a year or so after his 1916 rookie, the 1917 home uniform and the unmistakable background of old Comiskey park tell you when and where this shot was taken–a World Championship season, no less!

By comparison, a Hornsby in SGC 20 went for $3225 last November and a Sisler in that same grade went for nearly $2500.00. Those players are more popular, but this card is in much better shape, and has no examples graded.
