2 sidenotes regarding this item
Card is scored for game 2, in which Ruth hit 2 home runs.
Also, this may be one of the few existing pieces of Lou Gehrig memorabilia out there from his true rookie season, as he is listed on the scorecard at 1B along with the infamous Wally Pipp who he would eventually replace.
But....Gehrig's (age 20) rookie season was 1923, and he played in only 13 games, so how many pieces can there be from only playing 13 games.
Gehrig sat on the bench and never did get into the '23 Series, but one of the only pieces of Rookie Year Gehrig memorabilia and for ONLY $200 bucks, good luck finding anything else of his from his rookie season at this low of a price.
It'll be gone fast!!!!! Don't hesistate, I price stuff to sell....and that's bottom line 'cuz Stone Cold said so!
