My Pops and I have completed four "pairs" thus far, and although it is not a HOF, we did finally complete the Orval Overall pair that we had been trying to hunt down (Uzit-AB 460) and I am just waiting for the Uzit from Fed Ex actually. They are dinged, but they are good enough for us, and hot damn I love the colors in that card

We are not rich guys, and prefer a variety of players as opposed to many backs including the most common variations of Piedmont and Sweet Caporal etc., although I have mad respect for the people who can actually get every possible combination in a back run. So many of those runs would be so tough. Though it is a team run as opposed to the a single player run, my all time favorite might have to be Jim River@'s Baltimore-Broad Leaf back run. That is seriously epic to have all nine of that particular team with that particular back, in my opinion.

We have a few more we would like to complete in the future for our collection. One of the best parts is that it has been "challenging" and has taken a great deal of patience. In fact, both of the Broad Leafs were acquired via trade, which I absolutely love. We should all trade more

Anyways, dang. I cannot even believe some of the cards in this thread and hopefully it has only just started. Thanks for sharing guys.

Derek

PS

I love the Sam Crawford AB460 and Uzit, they look great together. And two red Cobb's with Lenox backs. Not too shabby for a Thursday afternoon
