F/S: Set of 1954 Red Heart Dog Food Cards (31/33). Including Mickey Mantle! The only two missing from the set are Schoendienst & Yost
This set was issued in three color-coded series, with the reds being scarcer.
The Mickey Mantle was probably handled the most by a kid when he got these cards, because it is the lowest grade of them all, but it is still very nice.
The red and green series are the best condition in this set with most being EX at a minimum. I believe several of these will grade from EX-MT & possibly NM. The nicest one I pulled from this set received a NM-MT 8 from PSA (not included for sale with this group). Not a single one of the red or green has any creasing other than some corner bends, specifically on the Kiner.
The blue series has very light vertical creases down the center of every one of the cards.
There are a lot of these that desperately need to be graded and this is a very rare opportunity to buy this set. All backs are as clean as the fronts with no marks, paper loss, etc.
